What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. The media on our website comes from a variety of scources, mainly images created by us (ABL), taken by our photographer Mcfade Photography, or from stock photo websites.
If you use a form on this website your data will be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We don’t store your information on this website but cannot guarantee that all form submissions are not stored. We try to check regularly to ensure the safety of your data and will remove contact form submissions found stored on this server. Data sent to email@example.com is processed by our office team and passed to a member of the team to process on our CRM system, Zoho.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
We use Google Analytics and Smartlook to monitor the way you use our website to enhance your user experience. This also helps us with marketing, we collate this information in an anonymous fashion however these tools may record your ip address. We don not further process this information.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you fill in a form, the data provided in that form is stored in the firstname.lastname@example.org mailbox and may be stored indefinitely. This data may be passed on to our team’s mailboxes and the data processed using our CRM system where your data can be stored for a minimum of 7 years if your enquiry progresses. For legal reasons, we must keep certain data for 7 years to ensure you have been treated fairly and in case a complaint arises during that time. You can request that we delete your data at any time.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Data sent to email@example.com or any of employees or representatives are processed by the individual and our CRM system; these details may be sent to potential lenders once you have given us your consent to do so.
Your contact information
Your contact information is sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and processed by a member of staff in the office. Processed information may be stored on our CRM system, Zoho CRM and within the email@example.com mailbox indefinitely. It may also be processed for our mailing lists with both Zoho Campaigns and MailChimp. We make sure these databases mirror each other, if you have unsubscribed for any mailing lists we will keep your email address on a No Send list to ensure you do not receive further marketing emails from us.
We update our systems regularly but there is always room for human error.
How we protect your data
We make sure all our systems software is fully up to date and protect them with appropriate anti virus software, scanning regularly for safety. We store your data on cloud-based systems, Zoho.
What data breach procedures we have in place
If we suspect a data breach we follow internal procedures to check how and where a breach may have occurred. If we think a data breach has occurred and may affect peoples data we will notify those people immediately via email and or post. If a data breach occurs we will notify the ICO as soon as we are aware of what has happened and who it may affect, we will endeavor to ensure any data breach is dealt with as soon as possible and work to rectify the situation as fast as we can.
What third parties we receive data from
We do not buy data from 3rd party companies.
We do receive referrals from partners, clients, and introducers.
We do use 3rd party software to track data, such as Google Analytics and Smart look which tracks the way in which you use our website anonymously.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
We do not use automated decision making or profiling. When we process a clients data to find finance for them we pass their data on to lenders, we cannot guarantee that lenders do not use automated decision making. As brokers, we only control and process data to send to lenders who make the final decision as to whether to lend or not. We hold the right to refuse to take a deal forward based on our professional opinions.
