As we’ve mentioned before in previous posts, Resolutions’ website contains a wealth of helpful information for couples considering or going through divorce.
Resolutions’ Advice Centre is a section of their website which covers various issues including child maintenance, parenting apart, money and home and coping with domestic violence.
The ‘Useful resources’ section of the website contains not only advice for parents, a glossary of legal terms and links to other useful websites but also a series of down-loadable fact sheets. These fact sheets cover many different issues that often cause concern for couples going through divorce, including child support, hints and tips for living apart together, property, debt, financial arrangements and contact with children.
Finding a lawyer that you can work with and trust plays a huge part in helping to sort out the issues that often surround children, family finances and property. At Dovetail we are members of Resolution and are happy to give further advice on collaborative family law, mediation and the various processes that can be used to help you sort things out amicably. Dovetail has family lawyers based throughout Yorkshire and the North of England, for further information please see http://www.dovetaildivorce.com/lawyers/
